Don’t go for singles and doubles, don’t even go for the outfield, go for the bleachers. And that’s a very courageous thing to do. I don’t believe in an afterlife, so I think this is it, and I’m trying to spend my time as best I can, and I’m trying to spend my time so I’m proud of what I’ve done, and I try not to do any things that I’m not proud of.

So I have, in fact, only worked on things that I thought could really be significant, and I haven’t really worried very much about getting tenure or actually getting a job.

Guy Kawasaki wrote about How to Get the Attention of a Venture Capitalist.

My own belief, it is not that big a problem, it is a VC’s job to find Entrepreneurs. They might miss some like Bessemer missed Intel, Apple Computer, Ebay, Google and others, but their goal is not to.

Just find a reference, know what stage are you, Bootstrap, Angel or VC and give it a good shot.

As far as I can be sure, I am more of a non-religious person, though spirituality in general is important to me, so it is kind of right, though I do find the “0% reason oriented” comment slightly offensive! they probably intended it to mean I am neutral towards reason.
